With a PhD in Computer Science from Brunel University, she combines technical expertise with a passion for innovation. Before founding Anya, Dr. Chen Mao Davies worked in the Hollywood film industry. This is where Chen’s contributions earned both BAFTA and Oscar awards for Best Visual Effects.
At Anya, Dr. Chen Mao Davies leads with a hands-on, people-first approach. Furthermore, she champions innovation in women’s health and drives meaningful change. Chen’s leadership earned her the prestigious Innovate UK Women in Innovation award, recognising her outstanding achievements as a female leader transforming healthcare through technology. Dr. Chen Mao Davies has earned recognition from the NHS Innovation Accelerator for her success in scaling Anya’s impactful healthcare solution. She also earned a spot in the Google for Startups’ AI for Health programme, recognising her groundbreaking work in AI-driven health.
