Parenting Specialist

Competitive Remuneration

We are seeking experienced International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), who are also Midwives, Child and Family Health Nurses to join our team as remote healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide evidence-based guidance to parents via our digital platform, helping them navigate breastfeeding, postnatal recovery, infant care, and overall maternal well-being. Your expertise will empower new parents by offering practical solutions, emotional support, and expert knowledge.

About The Role:

  • Providing real-time, virtual support to parents on breastfeeding, lactation challenges, postnatal care, and newborn health.
  • Offer evidence-based guidance on topics such as infant feeding, maternal recovery, sleep, and mental well-being.
  • Deliver compassionate, non-judgmental support tailored to the unique needs of each parent.
  • Respond to inquiries via chat or video consultations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in perinatal care and lactation support.
  • Work collaboratively with the Anya team to enhance user experience and improve platform offerings.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates who are uniquely qualified as International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) and also hold additional qualifications in midwifery or family health nursing. Our ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

  • IBCLC Certification: Must possess an active International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification along with valid insurance.
  • Midwifery Qualifications: Must be a registered midwife with a valid practicing license in Australia, and must also hold an IBCLC accreditation.
  • Family Health Nursing Qualifications: Must have relevant nursing or midwifery qualifications with experience in maternal and child health, and must be IBCLC accredited.

We are specifically looking for professionals who combine these qualifications, not seeking individuals with singular qualifications. This multidisciplinary approach ensures a comprehensive support system for maternal and child health services.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience supporting new parents, breastfeeding, or postnatal care.

Skills:

  • Strong digital literacy and ability to provide virtual consultations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and empathy skills, with a family-centred approach.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing a flexible schedule.
  • Passionate about improving maternal and infant health outcomes through technology.

Desirable:

  • Experience providing virtual consultations or online support.
  • Knowledge of diverse cultural practices around parenting and breastfeeding.
  • Additional certifications in maternal mental health or neonatal care.

Benefits:

  • Flexible, remote work that fits around your schedule.
  • Opportunity to be part of a pioneering digital health platform revolutionising parental support.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and consultation frequency.
  • Professional development opportunities and collaboration with a global team.

Join our dynamic team on an ad hoc basis, where you’ll have the flexibility to contribute as needed, directly responding to user queries and playing a key role in expanding our content to enrich user experiences—all at a pace that fits your schedule.
