Clinical Lead for Women’s Health (Menopause)

Location: Remote, UK based

Hours: Part time, flexible working – 15-20 hours per week, as agreed. 

Reports to: Clinical Director  

Salary: Competitive renumeration – depending on experience (NHS equivalent Band 7)

About the role:

We are now expanding our AI-powered 24/7 support ‘from pregnancy to parenting’ into new life stages including fertility and menopause in 2024.   

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Lead with a passion for women’s health to provide professional clinical leadership, manage and support our team of clinicians and experts in the Menopause vertical of our app, and as we develop the Fertility vertical. 

As the Clinical Lead for Women’s Health your main duties will include: 

Clinical Practice  

  • Ensure the highest level of evidence-based practice 
  • Undertake online patient support consultations  
  • Oversee and review written and recorded content 
  • Write and implement clinical policies   
  • Oversee and manage all areas of clinical governance  
  • Mentor, train and support new specialists  


  • Develop and maintain a positive proactive working relationship with other members of the multi-disciplinary team 
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clinical enquiries and consultations within the Women’s Health specialist team 
  • Lead and develop the Women’s Health team  
  • Manage relationships with partners and service users  


  • Oversee and review the content creation for the App and integral Anya AI chatbot 
  • Review and evaluate existing content, features and functionality to ensure accuracy, relevance and efficiency  
  • Create and participate in educational webinars  

Human Resources 

  • Manage and oversee the recruitment of new specialists  
  • Oversee the running of the clinical team

  • IT literacy and the aptitude to learn new skills quickly 
  • Experience in providing supervision, teaching and consultation regarding clinical matters, with a user-focused approach 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Leadership skills to motivate your team members  
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks, set deadlines and review the team’s progress 
  • Experience of developing, applying and reviewing an evidence-based approach to decision making 
  • Demonstrated commitment to Anya’s mission, vision and values.  

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Up to date UK registration as an appropriate health care professional  
  • Previous experience working in the area of women’s health or menopause 
  • Completion of an academic or accredited menopause course 
  • Excellent standard or written and spoken English  


  • Leadership qualification 
  • Mentorship qualification 
  • Menopause and / or fertility specific qualification / certification 
  • MSc level of education in a clinical, management or scientific discipline
